20 March 2017 - Alnmouth, Northumberland.
After our visit to Warkworth this morning we visited Alnmouth a few miles up the coast for a short walk around the river estuary.

20 March 2017 - Warkworth, Northumberland.
This morning we visited Warkworth for a walk along the River Coquet, through the village and up to the castle.
Daffodils were flowering nicely by the river as seen in the first two photos below of the old bridge and gate. The third photo below is a view of Warkworth Old Bridge and the River Coquet.
The fourth photo below is a view of St. Lawrence Church, followed by a view of Warkworth Castle and the last photo is a view along the footpath beside the River Coquet

05 March 2017 - Bothal, Northumberland.
This morning we walked through the woods to Bothal, returning along the road through the village and past the castle.
The first photo below is a view of Bothal Castle followed by a roadside view between Bothal and Pegswood. The next two photos are views of the footpath through Bothal Woods followed by two views of Brocks Burn.

02 March 2017 - Amble, Northumberland Coast.
This evening we visited Amble for a walk along the quayside, pier, promenade and the Little Shore Beach..
The first two photos are views of Amble Pier and the lighthouse, followed by a view of gulls and cormorants on the shore beside the old mooring jetty. The last two photos are views of the Little Shore Beach.
