27 July 2016 - Ashington Community Woods, Northumberland.
This afternoon we visited Ashington for a walk through the community woods on the north side of the town.
The first photo below is a view of the signpost at the entrance to the woods with directions to the woodland paths, QEII Park and the town centre.
The next three photos are views along the disused and overgrown railway from Ashington to Linton.
