26 November 2015 - Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland Coast.
This afternoon we walked along the River Tweed from the Caravan Club site at Spittal to Berwick-upon-Tweed.
The first photo below is a view of a fishing boat returning to Berwick, following the deep water channel up the river Tweed at high tide, followed by a view across the River Tweed to Berwick.
The third photo is a view across the River Tweed at Berwick Old Bridge followed by a view looking downstream from the bridge. The last photo is a view of the Royal Tweed Bridge.

This morning we walked along to the mouth of the River Tweed at Spittal and around to the beach and the promenade.
The first photo below is a view of the mouth of the River Tweed with the old chimney at Spittal on the right.
The next two photos are views of Berwick Pier and Lighthouse seen from Spittal Beach and the fourth photo is a view across the River Tweed to Berwick seen from the sandbar that is covered at high tide.
The fifth photo is a view of Spittal Beach and the old chimney seen from the north end of the promenade.
