03 November 2015 - Bothal, Northumberland.
Today we walked to Bothal on a misty damp morning. The leaves were falling from the trees but the overcast weather created good lighting to capture the autumn colours.
The first photo below is a view taken on the road down to Bothal Village followed by a view of Bothal Castle which was shrouded in mist.
The third photo is a view of the Acer outside Bothal Church which turns bright red each autumn and is a popular subject for local photographers.
The fourth photo is a view of a friendly horse in the field below Bothal Castle and the last photo is a view of the River Wansbeck at Bothal Weir.
