25 March 2015 - Seaton Sluice, Northumberland.
Today we visited Seaton Sluice for a walk along the beach and around the harbour.
The first three photos below are views of Seaton Sluice Beach and the harbour entrance at low tide, where the water was shallow enough to walk across.
The fourth photo is a view taken in the harbour and the last photo is a view from the road above the harbour looking out towards the beach and Blyth in the distance.

22 March 2015 - Amble, Northumberland.
Today we visited Amble for a walk around the harbour and pier.
The first three photos below are views of gulls on the quayside, with two in the first photo howling very loudly and in almost perfect harmony with each other!
The fourth photo is a view of Coquet Island Lighthouse and the last photo is a view of waves breaking over the end of the promenade

10 March 2015 - Blyth, Northumberland.
Today we visited Blyth for a walk along Blyth South Beach to the harbour.

04 March 2015 - Rothbury, Northumberland.
After our walk at Simonside Forest today we visited nearby Rothbury for a walk around the village.
The first two photos below are views of Rothbury Village Centre followed by a view of All Saints Church.
The last two photos are views of the River Coquet at the footbridge that leads from the car park to the village..

04 March 2015 - Simonside Hills, Northumberland.
Today we walked through Simonside Forest to the foot of the fells, stopping at the viewpoint which provides fine views across the Coquet valley to the Cheviot Hills in the distance.
The first four photos below are views taken along the forest tracks, followed by a view from the viewpoint to the Cheviots.

Today we visited Ashington Community Woodland in Northumberland for a walk along some of the footpaths through the woods.
