26 September 2013 - Blyth, Northumberland.
This afternoon we visited Blyth for a walk along the beach to the piers and South Harbour. The beach was almost completely deserted apart from a few dog walkers, but there were a few anglers on the West Pier.
The first photo below is a view between the piers, taken from the harbour wall. The next three photos are views along Blyth South Beach looking in both directions.

03 September 2013 - Bothal, Northumberland.
This evening we walked to Bothal. It was the end of another warm day and fields were being harvested between Bothal and Pegswood, as seen in the first four photos below. The last photo is a view of Bothal Castle in the glow of the setting sun.
