15 January 2016 - Bothal, Northumberland.
This morning we walked through the woods to Bothal. It was frosty and there had been a light snow shower during the night, but it was also sunny and bright.
The first photo below is a view from the woods across Brocks Burn which was returning to it's normal level after heavy rain, as seen in the second photo. The third photo is view along the footpath from Bothal to Pegswood.
The fourth photo is a view towards Bothal Castle with a well wrapped up horse grazing in a nearby field. The last photo is a view along the road from Bothal to Pegswood which still had a few icy patches.
