10 January 2016 - Pegswood, Northumberland.
This afternoon we walked through Pegswood Country Park to the lake just as the sun was setting.
Part of the footpath through the park was completely flooded after heavy rain as seen in the first three photos below
After a detour via the road we arrived at the lake just as the sun had dropped below the horizon and lit up the clouds and sky with a fiery glow, as seen in the fourth photo.
The last photo is a view of one of the horses that are kept in a field beside the park.
