Today we walked through Pegswood Country Park near Morpeth in Northumberland.

The first two photos below are views of the footpath through the country park on the east side of the Morpeth to Longhirst road, followed by three views of the lake on the west side of the road.

22 February 2016 - River Wansbeck, Morpeth, Northumberland.

Today we visited Morpeth and walked along the River Wansbeck through Carlisle Park.

18 February 2016 - QEII Park, Ashington, Northumberland.

This morning we visited QEII Park at Ashington for a walk around the lake to Woodhorn Colliery Museum.

The first two photos below are views from the footpath on the west side of the lake, followed by a view of some early blossom on tress beside the footpath.

The fourth photo is a view Woodhorn Colliery Museum and the last photo is a view of Museum Halt Station on the narrow gauge railway that runs beside the lake.

This morning we visited Morpeth for a walk along the River Wansbeck through Carlisle Park.

This morning we visited Ashington for a walk through the Community Woods on the north side of the town.

10 February 2016 - Cresswell, Northumberland Coast.

This morning we visited Cresswell for a walk from the village through the dunes and along the beach at Druridge Bay.

The first photo below is a view of Cresswell Beach seen from the roadside car park south of the village. The second photo is a view of Druridge Bay Beach seen from the dunes we walked through just north of Cresswell Village.

This morning we visited Mitford to take some photos of the castle and St. Mary Magdalene Church.
