14 October 2015 - Morpeth, Northumberland.
Today we visited Morpeth for a walk along the River Wansbeck through Carlisle Park to High Stanners.
The first photo below is a view of Elliott Bridge, one of the footbridges that cross the river in Morpeth followed by a view along the River Wansbeck near Morpeth Stepping Stones.
The third and fourth photos are views of autumn reflections in the River Wansbeck at Carlisle Park and the last photo is a view taken in Carlisle Park.

08 October 2015 - Wylam, Northumberland.
Today we walked along the old railway line from Newburn in Tyne & Wear to Wylam in Northumberland. The former railway is now a footpath and cycleway and passes through Wylam and across the River Tyne at Hagg Bank Bridge.
The first photo below is a view of the River Tyne from the road bridge at Wylam, followed by a view further along the river at Hagg Bank Bridge.
The third photo is a view of Wylam Village and the war memorial and the fourth photo is a view of Wylam Station with a passenger train at the westbound platform.
The last photo is a view beside the riverside footpath from Newburn to Wylam where the trees were turning golden with autumn colour.

01 October 2015 - Blyth, Northumberland.
Today we visited Blyth for a walk along the beach to the West Pier and South Harbour.
The first photo is a view along Blyth South Beach looking towards the piers, followed by a view of a fishing boat returning to Blyth South Harbour.
The third photo is a view of Blyth South Harbour and Marina followed by a view of lobster pots and nets stacked along one of the jetties. The last photo is another view of the fishing boat preparing to moor in the Harbour.
