This afternoon we visited Pegswood Community Country Park near Morpeth, Northumberland. Our first visit here was on a dull afternoon so we returned to take some photos in brighter weather.

Below are five photos taken at various viewpoints on the footpaths around the lake at this new park.

22 July 2014 - Ros Castle, Northumberland.

This afternoon we visited Ros Castle in North Northumberland. It isn't actually a castle as a plaque beside the hilltop viewpoint explains. It is one of the best viewpoints in Northumberland but the view to the coast has been ruined by wind turbines.

The first three photos below are views from the viewpoint followed by a view of the trig point and viewpoint. The last photo is a view up to the hill from the road leading from Hepburn.
