18 April 2014 - Bothal, Northumberland.
This morning we walked through Bothal Woods hoping to get some good photos of the Bluebells.
There were vast swathes of Bluebells although not quite a their best yet, the first photo below is a view of some of them. The next three photos are views along the path through the woods leading down to the village and the last photo is a view of St. Andrews Church in Bothal.

15 April 2014 - Blyth, Northumberland Coast.
This afternoon we visited Blyth for a walk along the beach to the south harbour and west pier.
The first photo below is a view along Blyth South Beach past one of the WW2 observation posts at Blyth Battery. The second photo is a view along Blyth Beach looking towards the piers and harbour.
The next two photos are views of Blyth West Pier and the last photo is a view of Blyth South Harbour and Marina.

12 April 2014 - Bothal, Northumberland.
This afternoon we visited Bothal for a walk through the woods.
The first photo below is a view looking across yellow rapeseed fields towards Bothal Village which lies beyond the trees. The next four photos are views taken along the footpath through the woods that leads from Bothal to the Pegswood - Ashington road.

06 April 2014 - Cresswell Beach, Northumberland.
This afternoon we visited Cresswell for a short walk along the beach.
The first two photos below are views from the rocks at the south end of Cresswell beach followed by two views from the rocks at the north end of the beach.
The fifth photo is a view of sea coal on the beach with tyre tracks from a tractor used to collect it.
